Our ambition is to encourage face-to-face meetings between residents and independent shop owners, so you can exchange directly with passionate professionals and discover their unique expertise. By fostering these encounters, we want to help energise local life while preserving the richness and diversity of neighbourhood commerce.

- Where did the idea for monbendo.fr come from?
- We wanted to prioritise in-store shopping so we could touch the products, benefit from personalised advice and talk with shopkeepers who are truly passionate about their work. We also wanted to preserve the identity of our neighbourhood and avoid it being dominated only by big chains. Yet it was difficult to know exactly where to find the products we were looking for at independent shops. That’s how the idea of monbendo.fr was born: offering a simple and effective solution to easily find these local businesses while actively contributing to their development.
- I’m a shop owner, how does it work?
- When a new shop or workshop is identified to join our network, we visit on site to get to know their story, expertise and offer. We then take care of writing the content and producing all the necessary photos (or reviewing together the photos you already have) to create an attractive page, ensuring an optimal presentation to showcase these local gems.
