The story of Anastasia
I have always nurtured the dream of becoming an illustrator.
As a child, creating meticulously crafted illustrations, reinterpreting the characters from my favorite books, and rewriting my beloved stories formed the very essence of my imaginary games.
One day, during a stay in the Czech Republic, I crossed paths with ceramics in a children’s art workshop. It was a dazzling revelation, an immediate and absolute passion. Since that moment,
it has now been ten years since we have lived in
a steadfast union.
Little by little, my characters and illustrations took on a new form: that of poetic teapots, delicate planters, and small decorative statues with singular charm.
Over time, the flat shapes, drawings, and prints, once confined to two dimensions, transformed into tangible sculptures, as real and animated as I had dreamed them. I feel an indescribable joy in bringing these creations to life, touching them, embracing them, and sometimes even kissing them. I go even further, conversing with these companions shaped by my hands. Together, we agree on the number of their fingers, the color of their eyes; we imagine a past for them and tenderly invent the fabric of their future.
Each of these works, without exception, is distinguished by its uniqueness. Even the replicas that are commissioned escape accuracy: they emancipate themselves, adopting their own mood, a distinct personality. Some, mischievous, become slightly rounder; others, wiser, display new, charming wrinkles. All, without exception, ardently long to be loved and cherished by those who will welcome them.
Thus, thanks to meticulous shaping and random glazing, each creation reveals a singular essence, always unexpected, always inimitable.
