Dahlias, the heart of the season

The heat waves have passed and autumn is approaching: it’s the ideal time to present our pompon dahlias, grown just a few kilometers from Paris!

These flowering and super colorful pompons are available at low prices and delivered by bike throughout Paris!

Where do our dahlias come from?

Our dahlias are grown in Essonne by Didier Fossourier (in

Bruyères-le-Châtel

) and the Brossard family (in Ollainville).

How to make your dahlias last in a vase?

Once cut, dahlias require a lot of water and are sensitive to excess heat. Fill your vase with water at room temperature and re-cut the stems at an angle. Repeat this every day.

Their guilty pleasure? At night, place them on a windowsill or a small balcony, summer flowers love the coolness of the evening. A little heat? The dahlia is one of the few flowers that drink through the heart: spray the center of these petals with room temperature water, it revives!
