Created by Audrey Venant and Mathilde Bignon, Désirée is a social and solidarity economy company aimed at defending the French horticultural sector. Reconverted between 2014 and 2016 after several years in food purchasing, Audrey and Mathilde worked in several flower shops and traveled across France meeting horticultural producers. In 2017, they created Désirée with the goal of exclusively working with French flowers.

Désirée sows free and committed flowers. As a stakeholder in a devastated horticultural sector, Désirée guides citizens towards the return of local flowers. Through living places, from field to flower-coffee shop, Désirée moves the flower sector to promote a better quality of life, at home as well as outdoors.
