Geneviève changed her life in 2000, leaving Paris to train with a carpenter in the south of France. Passionate about wood, she initially hesitated with a career as an antique dealer but ultimately chose manual work. After internships in carpentry and furniture restoration, she obtained her CAP as a carpenter in 2010 at the Boulle school. Based in a workshop in Paris, she specialized in straw marquetry, inspired by Art Deco. Despite the challenges of the trade, she continues to teach and restore, finding a balance between her passion and the financial constraints of the profession.
