By nature creative, it was after discovering a DIY candle kit that I became interested in the artisanal making of candles. Passionate about the world of decoration, I have always had this desire to create within me. I then started looking for alternatives, the most natural possible in terms of ingredients, and imagining my first candles with soy vegetable wax.

Alongside my work in optics, I began making my own candles at home, in my kitchen, experimenting with various scents and conducting numerous tests. In 2021, fueled by my passion and values, I chose to leave my position as an optician to dedicate myself entirely to IOKKO. After a decade in the optics field, it was evident for me to return to the essential with an artisanal trade. This is how the IOKKO adventure came to be.
