The story of Justine
Coming from the digital world, I began a career change in 2021 driven by a deep need for material, gesture, and slowness. The earth became an obvious choice, a medium that is both raw and sensitive.
Trained in throwing by Philippe Paumier and holding a CAP in ceramics, I founded my workshop where I develop utilitarian and sculptural ceramic work. I create unique pieces or small series: tableware, vases, wall lights, door knobs, organic shapes at the edge of objects and sculpture.
My universe is marked by a clean and poetic aesthetic. The material remains deliberately visible, lines are sober, textures sometimes rough, colors always soft and natural. I am particularly interested in hybrid formats that question the boundaries between art and utility.
Each creation is thoughtfully considered, from the choice of forms to that of materials.
I continue to train regularly with ceramic artists such as Shingo Takeuchi, Marc Uzan, Nathalie Domingo, Maria Bosh, or Lisa Allegra. I also teach throwing and molding, and I support autistic adults in the sensory and expressive discovery of clay.
My work is aimed at spaces that value authentic materials and handmade work, whether in private interiors, public places, or artistic collaborations.
Architects, cafés, restaurants, individuals, feel free to contact me.
