The story of Keiko and Baudouin
In the vibrant, cultural, and artistic neighborhood of Belleville, KO HANA offers floral compositions and terracotta vases made on-site. Seasonal flowers and local producers are favored. The artistic creator, Keiko Michigami, and her partner and husband Baudouin Roucher, do not see flowers as decorative objects but as living beings, enhanced by the decor and the vases.
Having settled in this neighborhood of Belleville, they draw their inspiration and energy from it every day. Committed, they advocate above all for taste, the pursuit of beauty, and the simplicity of nature's things. Each flower, each plant is unique and carries within it an energy and a message that Keiko will enhance through her compositions.
Straddling the 19th and 20th arrondissements, this city within a city, this charming and bustling Belleville is the perfect setting for KO HANA with its numerous floral and urban farms, reinvesting urban space for the benefit of nature. Far from a utopian spirit, we can mention, among others, the floral farm of the Debré hospital, or Plein Air Paris at the Belleville cemetery, whose hard and quality work promises happy days for flowers in Paris.
KO HANA also aims to be a gathering place, where the synergy of artists, particularly from Belleville, is meant to flourish, exhibit, and unite. The shop is currently showcasing the paintings of a talented young artist, Constance Leonarduzzi, and is preparing several collaboration and residency projects.
You can also find many vintage items at KO HANA, true treasures of curiosities for some, always chosen with love by the duo at the helm of this original and atypical place.
