Maher explores the art of turning with a free and intuitive approach. Originally from Tunisia, he draws his inspiration from childhood memories of Nabeul, a city renowned for its pottery, where he spent his summers. After discovering turning over 20 years ago, he has been fully dedicated since 2013, honing his craft in Karine Dessag's workshop in Paris. Since 2023, Maher has opened his own creative space, where he mainly works with stoneware and experiments with unique glazes. Without preconceived ideas, he lets his pieces evolve spontaneously, guided by the shapes and textures that emerge under his hands. He shares his passion by offering modeling classes (coil, slab, pinch) for adults, youth, and parent-child.
