Rémi creates utilitarian or decorative pieces in stoneware, inspired by Japanese ceramics with a Wabi-Sabi spirit. An aesthetic tradition where imperfection and accident contribute to the beauty of things.

The raw materials gathered in his pieces, clays, sands, ashes… exposed to the transformation of the kiln, create a landscape of singularities, roughness, cracks, melted grains of sand, and outcrops of bare earth that make them unique pieces.

These include Matcha bowls, presentation plates, sake bottles, pots and vases, tea or sake cups, teapots, but also objects to look at which everyone can find their own use for… or not.
