Sophie is a ceramic artist influenced by her years spent at the workshop of Valentine Schlegel. Although she started with sculptures and modeling, she turned to creating utilitarian and decorative objects, mainly on the wheel, to beautify our daily lives and raise awareness about handmade objects. In 2016, she founded the brand "Jalousies" focused on pots planted with succulents, recreating miniature gardens to reconnect our small urban spaces with nature. She also offers unique and warm-shaped planting pots made of red clay from Treigny. Sophie offers individual or duo classes in throwing and modeling in her workshop (ceramics throwing CAP obtained in 2022) and travels for home modeling classes for people with reduced mobility or too elderly to travel.
