A thread, a needle, and suddenly time slows down. Stitch by stitch, embroidery offers a slow, almost meditative pleasure that quickly proves to be much more engaging than one might imagine. No experience is necessary: it is a practice that is perfectly suited for beginners.

The session begins with learning the essential stitches, the stem stitch, the dotted stitch, and the knot, on a small sample. Once you get the hang of it, you move on to your own design, hoop in hand and tea within reach. You can embroider a tote bag with your name, a soft toy to give for a birth, a small picture to frame, or personalize a piece of clothing. The square of fabric is provided; for a t-shirt or a towel, supports are offered on-site for an additional fee, and you can also bring your own piece, a pair of jeans, a jacket, or a shirt. A team member regularly checks in for advice or a more delicate stitch.

Two hours later, you leave with an object embroidered by your own hands, to keep or to give away.
