After discovering ceramics during a long internship in an artists' workshop in Ecuador, Valentine continues her training at the ceramics workshop of the La Cambre School of Visual Arts in Brussels. She studies there for three years before completing her studies with a year at the Beaux-Arts in Lyon. Upon graduating, Valentine opens her own workshop in Montreuil: Le Tabouret. Le Tabouret is a place dedicated to the discovery and practice of ceramics. It welcomes both the curious and artists wishing to produce their pieces, while also serving as Valentine’s personal workshop. The space is friendly and open: if the door is ajar, feel free to push the door to visit the workshop and share a tea! In Montreuil, Le Tabouret invites young and old to explore the world of ceramics. Every week, you can find 6 to 7 slots for adult modeling classes: there’s no yearly commitment here, come when you want and can! For children and teenagers, meet every Wednesday afternoon with class options every two weeks. Finally, for the little ones, ages 3-5, messy workshops take place regularly!
