2 hours 30 minutes per session from 13 years old 7 participants maximum per time slot all levels - beginners accepted throughout the year Modeling is all the work with clay without using the potter's wheel. In this course, come discover the various hand-shaping techniques (pinch, coil, and slab). During the first session, I will explain everything you need to know about the material and the ceramic process. If you have never come to the stool before, please note that you should plan to arrive 30 minutes early. You will then be free to create according to your desires. At the stool, there is no yearly commitment, you can come for one class or two, or subscribe with cards of 5 or 10 classes and sign up when you want and can! Ceramics require one or two firings before being finished, so you will need to come back to the studio to pick up your creations once fired. If you wish to “glaze” your pieces (that is, add a colored coating), remember to book a second session, three weeks after the first :) Unglazed pieces are kept for 3 months in the studio, finished pieces for only 1 month.
