Laminating and encapsulating
€5.00
Finishing work requires one or more passes through a laminator to ensure uniform pressure between the substrate and the visual. The finishing requires a technical margin involving an image loss of 5mm.
Laminating: This method involves applying a thin layer of clear plastic film to the printed surface. Laminating offers protection against daily wear and tear, scratches, and moisture. It can be glossy or satin, adding a distinctive visual touch to your documents while preserving them.
Encapsulating: Encapsulating goes further than laminating by creating a sealed envelope around the work. This involves the use of two sheets of plastic film that are heated and pressed together, thus enclosing the printed substrate. This method is ideal for frequently handled documents as it offers total protection against the elements and wear.
