Experience a complete immersion in the world of artisanal cutlery with me by creating your own straight knife, entirely designed and made by your hands.
Limited to a maximum of 3 participants to ensure personalized support, this workshop begins with a blank sheet on which you draw the knife of your desires. From a steel bar and a piece of wood, you then bring your creation to life while being guided and assisted if needed in all the essential steps of manufacturing.
The morning is dedicated to making the blade: tracing, cutting, shaping the heel and then the bevel, heat treatment. After a friendly meal included in the day, the afternoon is devoted to making the handle, assembling the knife, sanding, finishing, and finalizing the edge and sharpening.
From 9 AM to 7 PM, you will discover gestures, techniques, and know-how!
At the end of this day, you will leave with a unique knife, entirely imagined, made, and finished by your hands.
