At Artichaut, watercolor is practiced without pressure. It is undoubtedly the gentlest technique to (re)take the brush: no need to know how to draw, everything starts from splotches, gradients, and a bit of letting go.
Water does a good part of the work, colors blend on their own, and it is often the accident that gives the most beautiful surprise.
You sit at your table, receive paper, brushes, and palette, then discover the essential gestures: wet on wet, reserves, the play of transparencies.
Then, everyone chooses their subject: a travel memory transformed into a postcard, their birthday invitation, a small plant painting for the living room, or a light portrait. A team member regularly comes by to help when a color runs too far or not enough.
Two hours later, with a coffee or a drink in hand, you leave with a well-dried watercolor, ready to be framed. Beginners and experienced alike find their place.
27 € for a 2-hour session, materials included.
