We carve, we ink, we press… and the design appears. Linocut retains something magical with each print, and it is the ideal entry point to discover engraving, even without any experience: the gesture is learned quickly, and the small irregularities add to the charm of each print.
We start by drawing our design, then we carve it into a lino plate using gouges, learning the proper grip to maintain control. Next comes the most awaited moment: inking, pressing, and then discovering the print. We can print several copies, on paper or on postcards, to create a personalized greeting card, a series poster, or a set of prints to frame. Want to wear your creation? It is also possible to print on textiles, a t-shirt, a tote bag, or a towel, available on-site for an additional fee, or to bring your own item to personalize.
Two hours later, we leave with our engraved plate and our small series of unique prints.
