€45.00
A simple, surprising, and very graphic technique to get started with ceramic decoration. Whether you draw often or almost never, everyone is welcome: no experience is necessary.
The workshop begins with the creation of a clay slab, which will serve as a support. You then paint your design on a specially designed transfer paper, tracing the outlines with fine tips, and then adding color with a brush using engobes, these clays tinted with ceramic colorants. Then comes the most magical moment: transferring the pattern onto the clay, which reveals the design in one go. All that’s left is to cut out the edges of the slab and to drill it so it can be hung or suspended.
The piece is then fired and glazed at the workshop, and you come back to pick it up a few weeks later.
45 € for a 2-hour session, including firing and glazing.
