Round Zouak tray made of cedar wood, completely hand-painted in a small workshop in Marrakech. Each piece takes between 8 and 9 hours of meticulous work. We were fortunate to meet a passionate young artisan who took over this workshop. He believes that craftsmanship must absolutely be passed down and valued to endure. He is committed to ensuring that these skills are not undervalued, allowing artisans to live with dignity. The wood chosen for the making of this tray is cedar wood, selected for its strength and lightness. The artisan then works with a donkey hair calligraphy brush, ideal for precise lines and smooth paint application. He draws the patterns without stencils or prior lines, with great patience, adjusting the colors by eye. This painted wooden tray is as practical as it is beautiful. It is easy to use thanks to its raised edges and handles. Ideal for serving tea and other drinks, it can also serve as decoration simply placed on a table or sideboard with a few everyday objects.
