Porcelain Workshop - Introduction to Pouring
€75.00
The introduction Trio of cups by Eugène Griotte is a very good starting point to discover the basics of pouring porcelain work.
Step through the doors of a ceramics workshop and experience the unique act of artisanal creation by making three espresso cups. This moment of calm and discovery offers you an approach to the first technical gestures of pouring in a friendly atmosphere.
You will start by discovering the different patterns you can create, the shades, and the colorful universes of the workshop, and you will make your choice of color and pattern. Next, you will prepare the slip and the three plaster molds that will allow you to create your pieces. Guided by the creator, you will pour your cups and then demold them. A crucial and delicate step in pouring, demolding is the moment when the cups can deform. But some advice will help you succeed brilliantly. A short break will allow time to pass. Then the long-awaited moment of demolding and discovering the patterns will arrive, and you will have the joy of seeing your work.
Have you never put your hands into clay? Are you already practicing wheel throwing or modeling and want to start with a new technique? Or are you simply looking to spend a friendly and creative moment with family or friends? This introduction is made for you. Pour and then leave with three pieces after firing and glazing (taken care of by the creator). So you will need to plan to come back to pick up the results.
