The FRANÇAISES collection is the result of a reflection started during the confinement about the origin of my raw materials. I conducted research, sourced, and questioned suppliers to only use raw materials extracted and manufactured on French soil. From there, we began researching glazes 'from scratch'. We first investigated the melting points of lavender ash, oak, then hay and straw from Berry with kaolin and silica, all still French. We added color-rich rocks high in iron such as red ochre, hematite, and mica to obtain a variety of shades. The glazes are then applied to pieces made of white stoneware extracted in Puisaye. From the clay to the glaze finishing through manufacturing, I am proud to unveil our FRANÇAISES collection, entirely made from our territory, from extraction to transformation.
Glazed on the inside and raw on the outside.
A plate that can serve as a butter plate, saucer, or dessert plate for cream puffs, cookies, and mochis.
